Formation in Frances Perkins Hall
This year of our Lord 2025 is the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, in which the Bishops of the Church agreed on the Nicene Creed that we continue to profess every Sunday. Starting Sunday, October 19, at 9:30, we will discuss the book, A Faith for the Future by Fr. Jesse Zink, part of The Episcopal series Church's Teachings for a Changing World. In less than 100 pages, Fr. Jesse gives a succinct commentary on the Nicene Creed as a way to dip your toes in the deep water of Christian theology.
You can order the book directly from Church Publishing by clicking here, or sign up in Perkins Fellowship Hall to have the Parish order it for you. The Bulletin Board is on the left as you walk into the Hall. Let's celebrate this momentous event by learning more about the faith we profess every Sunday.
